he Indiana Fever are beginning to set their sights on the 2025 campaign, which will be getting underway in less than a month now. On Saturday, though, star guard Caitlin Clark pulled up to the Indiana Pacers first game of the postseason against the Milwaukee Bucks, prompting the Fever to send a message to their fans.
After finishing as the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference, the Pacers opened the playoffs in front of their fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The end result was a commanding 117-98 victory for Indiana, but head coach Rick Carlisle was quick to remind folks that the series is only just getting started.
“I thought the first half, our level of persistence was good and it was consistent,” Carlisle said after the Pacers’ Game 1 victory. “Things stalled out some in the third quarter. The series is one-seventh over. Game 2 will be monumentally more difficult than this one.”

The fans were out and about for this game, and that included Clark, who has been seen supporting the Pacers on several occasions since finding her way to the Fever. After a clip of Clark at the game emerged on social media, the Fever sent a message to their fans regarding their superstar guard.
“Caitlin reppin’ the Blue & Gold today,” the Fever said in a post on X.
Clark starred for Indiana as a rookie, averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 41.7% from the field. Those numbers earned her an All-Star selection, the Rookie of the Year Award, and a spot on the All-WNBA First-Team.
