You see a lot of that everywhere, but I think even more on family companies.Rudeness has increased exponentially since the internet gave a space for such voices. It has been taken up within all forms of public discourse. Our presenters, our journalists, our politicians and our leaders have all fallen prey to this affliction. My father always used to say ‘If you can’t say something nice then don’t say anything at all.’ While I don’t agree that you shouldn’t challenge people when you disagree with them there surely should be a way of doing that without being base.
