I am trying to raise my daughters to be empathetic and kind to those they come in contact with. Also, learning to forgive and move on from conflicts, instead of carrying around the baggage that we seem to acquire because of hurt feelings. Thank you for being brave!. Such wise words. It’s so important to actually talk to people. All the stereotypes and social/political dividers melt away. We are left with more common ground to stand upon that we could have ever imagined.Thank you for taking time to share a very wise perspective. Not all will embrace but let’s hope it opens up a dialogue to someone before judging them. I really love this. I think the thing is getting to know people as humans, not going in and trying to change their opinions, but just talking to them to understand them and see what things you have in common.
